Fredrik Tumegård new interim CEO of Stim

Stim has now appointed Fredrik Tumegård as its new interim CEO, effective 3 November. Fredrik has extensive experience as a CEO and transformation leader, with a strong technical and commercial background. He has held senior roles in listed companies, international groups and growth companies within technology, media, life sciences and industry – always with a focus on driving strategic development, delivering results and building sustainable organizations.

Fredrik also has broad experience in interim assignments where he has stepped in to provide clear direction, strengthen leadership and move important projects forward. He has often worked at the intersection of technology, culture and societal missions – with leadership characterised by attentiveness, inclusiveness and strong execution.

We are very pleased to welcome Fredrik to Stim. With his background and leadership he joins as a new force at an important moment. We have great opportunities ahead of us and Fredrik will be an important person for maintaining direction and momentum in our work to realise the STIM 2030 strategy, says Carina Brorman, chair of the board.

Since April, Casper Bjørner, Stim's permanent CEO, has been on sick leave and Lina Heyman, STIM's General Counsel, has served as acting CEO in the meantime. She now returns to her regular role.

A warm thanks to Lina for her clear leadership, stability and strong commitment during this period. She has done a fantastic job keeping the organization together and driving important issues forward, says Carina Brorman.

Fredrik Tumegård assumes the role of interim CEO on 3 November. The appointment is initially for a period of six months.

Casper Bjørner to leave position as CEO of STIM

Over the past year, Casper Bjørner has been absent from STIM's operations due to medical reasons. During this period, Casper and the Board have engaged in dialogue regarding the future. Given the continued uncertainty concerning his health, and considering STIM’s need for long-term, fully operational leadership in a period of significant transformation in the music industry, it has been mutually agreed that this is the appropriate course of action.
