Negotiated prices and agreement terms and conditions apply to TV channels that broadcast in Sweden.
Remuneration from abroad
When STIM's catalogue is performed outside of Sweden, STIM receives royalties for and details of the works performed. When music from other countries is performed in Sweden, STIM sends royalties to collecting societies in those countries.
Music in radio, tv and films
Here we have gathered information related to the use of music in radio, television, film and advertising.
Music especially composed for a film, TV show, radio show or commercials is known as commissioned music, and is generally treated by STIM in the same way as other compositions.
How much is one minute of broadcasting worth, and how much do you get for one stream?
When your music is played on radio and TV, you get reimbursement from STIM for every minute. For streaming services you will receive a fixed amount when your song has been played for at least 30 seconds.
