Alfons Karabuda is appointed acting CEO of the music creators’ and publishers’ rights organization, as former acting CEO Helena Woodcock has chosen to reassume her position as STIM General Counsel.

Alfons Karabuda has since 2007 been Chairman of SKAP, the Swedish Society of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. He assumes the function as STIM acting CEO until the appointment of a new CEO. During this period, Mr Karabuda will also step down from the STIM board of directors.

– In my new role of acting CEO, I look forward to keep promoting the interests of rightsholders. During a time of intense business development, STIM is in need of Helena Woodcock’s judicial competence as General Counsel. This is why the change has been made, says Alfons Karabuda.
