STIM's Royalty Distribution Schedule 2024

Important STIM dates in 2024

January 4

REGISTER WORKS: Final day to notify STIM of new works ahead of the March payment. If you register works on a later occasion, they will be part of another STIM payment.

January 31

REGISTER WORKS: Final day to notify STIM of new works ahead of the June payment. If you register works on a later occasion, they will be part of another STIM payment. Please note that the date may change slightly.

February 20

PAYMENT: Royalties for music played on streaming services both in Sweden and overseas. All you need to know about the February payment.

March 19

PAYMENT: The payment covers live, background music, domestic online services, reallocated fees, and music played overseas. Register your works no later than January 4, 2024. All you need to know about the March payment.

May 21

PAYMENT: STIM royalties for music played on streaming services both in Sweden and overseas. The payment covers, among others, Youtube, Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon. More information will be available closer to the date. All you need to know about the May payment.

May 28

ANNUAL MEETING: STIM's annual general meeting takes place in Stockholm.

June 18

PAYMENT: The payment covers many music sources, including radio, TV, live and background music, domestic online services, and music played overseas. All you need to know about the June payment.

July 14

REGISTER WORKS: Final day to notify STIM of new works ahead of the September payment. If you register works on a later occasion, they will be part of another STIM payment.

August 12

SCHOLARSHIP: We open this year's application for a STIM scholarship.

August 22

PAYMENT: Royalties for music played on streaming services both in Sweden and overseas. All you need to know about the August payment.

September 17

PAYMENT: The payment covers live, background music, support, domestic online services, and music played overseas. All you need to know about the September payment.

October 4

REGISTER WORKS: Final day to notify STIM of new works ahead of the December payment. If you register works on a later occasion, they will be part of another STIM payment.

November 21

PAYMENT: Royalties for music played on streaming services both in Sweden and overseas. All you need to know about the November payment.

December 31

REPORT SETLISTS: Send your setlists to STIM for your 2023 live shows on New Year's Eve at the latest. Secure your live music monies by registering your setlist on My Pages.
