Report from STIM’s Annual General Meeting 2021
In 2020, Stim’s earnings declined dramatically, from SEK 2,4 bn. to 1,9 bn, and most of the decline was caused by the pandemic. On May 26, 2021, Stim held its Annual General Meeting, conducted digitally due to the Covid-19 virus.
Record Year for Swedish Songwriters – over SEK 2 Billion in Revenue
For the first time ever, STIM’s royalty revenues have exceeded SEK 2 billion. This is an increase of 7 percent compared with the previous year.
Continued strong demand for Swedish music – higher revenue for STIM in 2018
STIM reported revenue of over SEK 2 billion, which is an increase of 2.2 percent compared to the year before.
2020 – a devastating year for music
In 2020, the pandemic took its toll on all parts of society. Places where people gather to enjoy themselves and listen to music were hit particularly hard by the restrictions.

In 2014 Stim gathered 1.7 billion SEK, which is an increase of six percent compared to the year before.
