Licence for music in restaurants 

When Music is played publicly in a restaurant, the Licensee will pay STIM a yearly fee as follows:

Reproduction

The fee includes music that is copied or transferred to or stored on, for example, CD or other media for playback in the restaurant. 

The Licensee must pay the fee in advance within the period specified in the Licence Confirmation or Special Agreement.  

Licence for music in restaurants – takeaways 

When Music is played publicly in a restaurant business with a maximum of 20 seats and where more than half of sales are attributable to takeaways, the Licensee will pay STIM a quarterly fee as follows:

Please note that the Licence does not cover Live Music or clubs and bars.
