We protect your rights
Your protection as a creator consists of two parts – economic and moral. When you join Stim, you get help in safeguarding your economic rights.
We make sure you get paid
When your music is played publicly, both in Sweden and the rest of the world, Stim is there to ensure you get paid for your work.
Together we are strong
It’s tough to stand up for your rights as a solo music creator, but together with over 100,000 other rights holders, we are strong.
How it works
Join Stim
Fill out your application online and then submit a signed membership agreement.
Add your works
Once we’ve confirmed your membership, you can log in to My Pages and add your songs.
Report performances
If you perform live, report your setlist after each gig. If your music is played on, for example, radio, TV, or through streaming, we receive the information in other ways.
Stim money is paid out
We compile all music usage that can be linked to your songs and pay out compensation several times a year.
We work for your rights
As an individual music creator or music publisher, you have the right to receive compensation when your music is played publicly in Sweden and around the world.
You also have the right to be compensated when your music is released on an album, streamed online, or used as a soundtrack in a film. At Stim, we work based on copyright law and stand up for your music rights. We are a non-profit membership organization working to ensure that music creators and publishers are paid for their work.
Are you in tune?
More than 100,000 songwriters, composers, lyricists, and music publishers are already members. You’re welcome to join too.
