If you did not receive your STIM royalties

Was your music played, but you missed out on your STIM royalties? Here, we will walk you through the rules and procedures that apply to complaints regarding missing compensation.

Log in to My Pages when you have read the information below. File your complaint by clicking “Missing payments” in the sidebar.

Please note that delayed or missing royalties most often have natural causes. In these cases, your money will be paid out later on. For example, we may not yet be paid by the music user - or a music report for your performance is not yet processed.

Read through the following criteria:

  1. The work in question has to be registered with STIM via My Pages.
  2. Please provide documentation of when and where the performance took place. For example, event marketing for a live show, a link to a radio broadcaster’s playlist, or similar.
  3. Please check that the period when the song was performed has been included in STIM’s previous payments. You will find the details via our payment overview.
  4. Make sure that the final date for complaints is not overdue.
  5. To file a complaint, the performance value has to be at least SEK 200.

Other criteria may apply than those mentioned above if we assess them as relevant to your case.

To get a detailed view of our guidelines, please read STIM’s complete policy for complaints.
