About our payment on September 21

Could the world fit into one single STIM payment? Well, yes, of course. If your songs played overseas during the last few years, you should check out our latest payment, packed with royalties from abroad. From plays in Vietnam and Peru to the United States and Germany.

As always, we also cover Swedish music usage in September, for example, live music, online video, and background music. Remember that your songs must have accumulated at least SEK 100 for you to receive a payment. As long as your balance is lower, your money is saved until you reach the threshold. The payment takes place on September 21, and the money will normally be in your account within two working days.

Radio royalties in September

Our usual timing for paying out remuneration to songs aired on commercial radio stations is June and December. The radio royalties included in this September payment are additional amounts for previous usage periods. If you got paid from STIM for commercial radio covering 2020-2022 or public service radio in January-June 2022, you will see these amounts in your September payment. See all the radio stations included in our detailed view.

When is the next payment?

The next royalty payment will be made on November 16, 2023 and covers Youtube, Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify and many other streaming services.
