About our payment on May 17th

STIM’s May payment covers big streaming services such as Apple Music, Spotify and Youtube. But mainly, we are glad to announce the first TikTok royalties to STIM's songwriters and music publishers!

Remember that your songs must have accumulated at least SEK 100 for you to receive a payment. As long as your balance is lower, your money is saved until you reach the threshold. The payment takes place on May 17th, and the money will normally be in your account within two working days.

TikTok royalties for the first time!

For a long time, we at STIM have made a big effort to make sure that music creators get paid for the enormous amount of music thats is used on TikTok. After several years of hard work, we sealed the deal - and now for the first time, we pay out TikTok royalties to our rightsholders in May 2022. The payment covers the retroactive period from January 2014 to June 2020. Read more about the TikTok royalties.

When is the next payment?

The next royalty payment will be made on June 16th, 2022, and covers many TV and radio stations, live music and background music, as well as royalties for music played overseas.
