Remember that your songs must have accumulated at least SEK 100 for you to receive a payment. As long as your balance is lower, your money is saved until you reach the threshold. The payment takes place on February 16th, and the money will normally be in your account within two working days.

More US royalties to STIM’s independent songwriters
For the first time, we pay American online royalties to independent songwriters that have not signed with a music publisher, and also to publishers without representation in the US. A while ago, we entered an agreement with the American administrator Muserk, which collects and distributes compensation from digital music services in the US. This February, we make the first payment.
Five months of Spotify royalties in one single payment
In February, we distribute royalties for as much as five months of Spotify usage in one payment! The time frame has shrunk from when the song plays on the service until the money is in your bank account. The Spotify periods will vary from now on - meaning that you might receive five months of usage in one STIM payment and two months in the next. In general, though, the compensation from the music service will arrive faster than before, which is very positive.
When is the next payment?
The next royalty payment will be made on Match 16th, 2023, and covers live music and background music, as well as royalties for music played overseas.
