Analogy-based allocation: "Online without report" area
Analogy-based allocation means that Stim allocates money based on music reports from other areas. This is a model widely used among collecting societies worldwide. As technology advances, our methods for increasing allocation precision improve. Additionally, the report selection is analyzed and adjusted continuously.
The "Online without report" area includes online services that Stim has agreements with and receives music reports from, i.e. a compilation of music that has been played. The distribution key is therefore continuously updated before each settlement.
Revenue within the same category is distributed to existing music reports within that category. The nature of the analogy revenue forms the basis for how the analogy amounts are distributed. Read more about how analogy-based allocation works.
