Publisher Power / Förlagskraft
Stim has an important mission to contribute to musical diversity. The new grant Publisher Power / Förlagskraft is aimed at all music publishers who want make music that they would otherwise not have dared to invest in available. Thereby the publisher contributes to musical diversity, continued creation and renewal on the Swedish music scene.
Publisher Power / Förlagskraft is an initiative within Stim's Program for Musical Diversity, an umbrella for several different initiatives aimed at highlighting and supporting music that has difficulty surviving on a commercial market.
Stim-affiliated music publishers can, within the framework of Publisher Power / Förlagskraft, apply for funding of projects that aim to promote and make market-disadvantaged music accessible. A project application can annually be granted up to 300,000 SEK, where the purpose is to contribute to musical diversity, continued creation and renewal on the Swedish music scene.
Application
Stim appoints an external working group that reviews and assesses the applications. Stim's CEO then makes the decision based on these recommendations.
The application period for Project Power / Förlagskraft 2025 is September 1st – October 15th at 11:59 (daytime).
Grant decisions are announced in December via email and by publication on stim.se. Payments are made in January.
