STIM's Royalty Distribution Schedule 2023

Important STIM dates in 2023
January 4
REGISTER WORKS: Final day to notify STIM of new works ahead of the March payment. If you register works on a later occasion, they will be part of another STIM payment.
February 16
PAYMENT: Royalties for music played on streaming services both in Sweden and overseas. All you need to know about the February payment.
March 16
PAYMENT: The payment covers live, background music, domestic online services, reallocated fees, and music played overseas. Register your works no later than January 4, 2023. All you need to know about the March payment.
March 22
REGISTER WORKS: Final day to notify STIM of new works ahead of the June payment. If you register works on a later occasion, they will be part of another STIM payment.
May 16
PAYMENT: STIM royalties for music played on streaming services both in Sweden and overseas. The payment covers, among others, Youtube, Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon. More information will be available closer to the date. All you need to know about the May payment.
May 30
ANNUAL MEETING: STIM's annual general meeting takes place in Stockholm.
June 15
PAYMENT: The payment covers many music sources, including radio, TV, live and background music, domestic online services, and music played overseas. Register your works no later than March 22, 2023.
July 14
REGISTER WORKS: Final day to notify STIM of new works ahead of the September payment. If you register works on a later occasion, they will be part of another STIM payment.
August 14
SCHOLARSHIP: We open this year's application for a STIM scholarship.
September 21
PAYMENT: The payment covers live, background music, support, domestic online services, and music played overseas. Register your works no later than July 14, 2023.
October 4
REGISTER WORKS: Final day to notify STIM of new works ahead of the December payment. If you register works on a later occasion, they will be part of another STIM payment.
October 6
CENTENARY: Founded on this day in 1923, STIM celebrates 100 years!
November 16
PAYMENT: Royalties for music played on streaming services both in Sweden and overseas.
December 15
PAYMENT: The payment covers many music sources, including radio, TV, live and background music, domestic online services, and music played overseas. Register your works no later than October 4, 2023.
December 31
REPORT SETLISTS: Send your setlists to STIM for your 2022 live shows on New Year's Eve at the latest. Secure your live music monies by registering your setlist on My Pages.
