Rights categories
Stim uses different rights categories. As a rights holder, you can choose the scope of the management assignment yourself, that is, which rights categories you want to grant to Stim for administration.
This way rights holders themselves gain the freedom to determine the scope of the management assignment – and can then freely choose which collective management organization they want to manage the rights.
Here are the seven rights categories used by Stim.
- Public performance – Live
- Public performance of background music
- Transmission to the public via TV (broadcast incl. simulcast)
- Transmission to the public via Radio (broadcast incl. simulcast)
- Reproduction on physical sound carriers – mechanical rights
- Transmission to the public via the internet – interactive
- Transmission to the public via the internet – non-interactive
