In June, Stim Music Room will be launched – an entire 200 square meter floor at Stim’s office in Stockholm, including two recording studios. Stim Music Room offers a place to write and record music or meet other songwriters for business meetings or collaborations. It is an unique initiative as it will be open and free of charge to all of Stim’s members.

Stim represents music creators from all possible backgrounds, experiences and genres, with the purpose of providing many of the necessities needed to succeed in today’s music industry. All members of Stim will be welcome to book the premises. There are also plans for an extensive schedule of events in the future, consisting of seminars, workshops and networking events in order to both provide industry knowledge and to create an important community space.

– We are incredibly proud to be able to open up Stim Music Room. The idea was born through dialogue with our members. Songwriting and composing can be a lonely profession, especially at the start of a career. Stim Music Room is our way to providepractical support in the songwriting process, in addition to creating a community space for our members. In other words, a natural progression of Stim’s core mission – to make sure songwriters get fairly compensated for their music, says Lina Heyman, Head of Rightholders Relations at Stim.
