Playing time on radio and TV
When your music is played on radio and TV, you are paid per minute of playing time.
When your music is played abroad
When Swedish music is played in countries other than Sweden, foreign copyright organizations report it to Stim. This way we can make sure that you as a creator receive compensation for your music.
When your music is performed live
When your music is performed publicly you are entitled to compensation. This also applies when your music is performed live, for example at concerts, clubs and festivals.
YouTube
Stim's agreement with YouTube means that music creators affiliated with Stim are paid for the music that YouTube users in Europe listen to.

Commissioned music
Specially composed music for film, TV, radio or advertising, so-called commissioned music, is handled by Stim in roughly the same way as your other compositions.
