Music in entertainment venues

Get access to music from around the world in just a few clicks. With a Stim music licence, you can create memorable and inspiring experiences at your nightclub or entertainment venue.

What would an entertainment venue be without music? Music and dance have brought people together throughout history. Research also shows that well-chosen music can increase sales and strengthen your brand. To use music legally in a business setting, you need a licence. Stim ensures that the money goes to the people who created the music.

Choose the right licence package for your business

In our shop you’ll find licence packages tailored to different needs. We offer three packages: Mini, Basic and Premium. Premium is our most comprehensive package and covers everything you may need.

If needed, we can tailor the packages to your business. That way you only pay for what is relevant, while knowing you have the right licences in place.

Suitable for businesses such as:

  • Nightclubs
  • Amusement parks
  • Zoos
  • Trade fairs
  • Film screenings

How is the cost calculated? The fee for music in entertainment venues is based on factors such as the number of events, the number of attendees and revenue from entrance fees.

Example 1 Folke runs a nightclub in central Stockholm that is open Wednesday to Saturday. The licence fee is based on the number of events per year, the average number of attendees and any entrance fee. Wednesdays: free entry, 52 events per year, an average of 100 attendees Fridays and Saturdays: SEK 200 entry, 104 events per year, an average of 100 attendees
