Live and performing arts

Music creators have the right to compensation when their music is played live. With a STIM license anyone can organize events with live music.

The money STIM receives from the license is paid out to the people who created the music. A music license is required whether the performer plays their own or others' songs, Swedish or foreign music. It also doesn't matter whether the event is free or has an admission fee.

This applies to live performances

Report a completed live event

If you have a live license and have organized a music event, you need to report certain details to STIM. The information you submit forms the basis for how much you must pay for the license.
