About our payment on October 18th

The extra STIM payment in October covers music usage on Instagram and Facebook. We set a new record with more songwriters getting paid for these platforms than ever! This is due to our technical progress over the last few years. The October payment also covers a large amount of Spotify royalties for previous periods.

Wait, hold up, a STIM payment in October?

You might keep track of every STIM payment in a year. If so, this is a natural question. Royalties from STIM in October? Well, we made new plans earlier this year to create a separate occasion between the payments in September and November. Each payout is a process with tight deadlines, and making space for one more allows us to pay more monies to STIM’s rightsholders faster. Win-win for everyone, so to speak.

More songwriters than ever receive royalties for Instagram and Facebook!

Remember that your songs must have accumulated at least SEK 100 for you to receive a payment. As long as your balance is lower, your money is saved until you reach the threshold. The payment takes place on October 18th, and the money will normally be in your account within two working days.
